Landscape soap making workshop

Service Description

This 3-hour workshop for up to 8 participants, will take you through how to make hot process soap. We will make a landscape bar together. Each participant will learn about the history of soap making, Castile soap - the French process, safety of soap making, the difference between the processes of cold and hot soap making. During the class, participants will create a batch of hot process soap together which will be done as a landscape. After the batch has been allowed to cool (after a lunch break) participants return to cut the logs of soap into bars, learn about how to get the most out of your soap, how to store it and the many ways it can be used in the home. Each participant will take home two landscape bars of soap and a recipe to make cold process soap. Minimum participants five.
